Assisi, Italy. My class took a field trip the other day and we went to this beautiful (green) town which was about an hour from Florence. I wish Mesa was this green.
Taking a tour of St. Francis basilica and tomb was also another awesome experience because him and I have a lot in common...we both love animals! (saint of animals)
Next was a pottery factory where we watched the masters do their magic. It wasn't as easy as it seems, some of us tried it out and...lets just say ghost makes it look a lot easier.
My roommate Sam and I went to the 'futbol' game later that night and bought some awesome shirts to show our team spirit. Italy is crazy about Soccer so we had to experience it for ourselves before we left.
The game was so much fun. I am pretty sure though that we were in the kids section but we got in for free so we didnt complain. The best part about it was in the middle of the game it started to pour so we played in the rain after it.
This was on the bus on the way home and yes we soaking wet and loving it. The day was memorable.
