Things have been quite busy lately. I know I left you hanging with very little details about this summer but I think it is because I haven't figured them all out yet. School has been so busy as of late that I haven't had time to think about much else. First on my list is graduation!!! And then if I survive that, next is Taiwan. Britton and I were talking tonight that it hasn't hit us quite yet that we are moving to Taipei, Taiwan for 2 1/2 months. It wasn't until last weekend that I finally realized what I was getting myself into. We were traveling the streets of Taiwan, via Google maps, with our good friends Chris and Tori (who are going with us!) and I realized I have a major problem. I don't know chinese. I know this is something I should have known beforehand but I was hoping that they would have both chinese and english signs but it doesn't look that way.

The city of dreams.
I have three options to choose from. 1. Have a month-long study sesh asap and hope that something sticks. 2. Rely solely on Britton to get me through every conversation and interaction. or 3. Wander aimlessly with Tori, only eating what we know to be beef. I think I might do all three... What do you think?
I am super excited and blessed to have this opportunity to live abroad. I love this world of ours and love experiencing different cultures. I hear the Taiwanese are the kindest people who are always willing to help you. Plus they think every American looks like a super star so hopefully that will help when it comes to finding my way around. haha It will be a blast.
Post Script: The picture is of the National Taiwan University, where Britton will be studying. And this is where I will be running.
