It's strange that the past 2.5 months are already over. It seems as if it was yesterday that I was just beginning on the island...I was worrying about the food, dying of sweating to death, and not understanding a word of Chinese. Now, I am actually scrambling to eat all the food I will miss in the next four days, hardly noticing the heat, and can actually understand what is going on around me. It's somewhat bittersweet. I will miss this place but I am ready to come home. I am excited though to be back in my comfortable bed (we sleep on springs here) and back to my soul food! Also, I will finally admit that Taiwan does got the upper hand on a few things when it comes in comparison with Italy...such as the shuiguo (fruit), the inexpensiveness of everything, and the people. Britton will be pleased with this post:)
As for now, I got four days left and I need to be taking a lot more pictures... we went to the best beach yesterday so pictures will soon to come.
